Join us for a day exploring some of the best garden destinations in Sydney’s south-west. Our first visit is to the acclaimed Glenmore House. Hidden away in a beautiful valley near Camden, Glenmore House is an exquisite rural property with one of the finest kitchen gardens you’ll see anywhere – and it’s all thanks to Mickey Robertson. A successful interior designer with an extraordinary vision, Mickey spent 20 years restoring tumbled down farm buildings and neglected farmland into what’s now a hub for kitchen garden learning. Her passion and influence have spread far, and every year visitors came from all over the country to attend her open days and special events.

On our visit, you’ll join Mickey in the garden for a private garden tour. See her famous kitchen garden, orchard, exuberant perennial borders and blooming roses. The farm buildings, now all lovingly restored, are stunning and create a deep visual and historical connection to their surroundings. Along the way, you’ll get plenty of take-home ideas, from Mickey’s clever dry garden planting choices to home composting tips and planting for year-round crops. Then it’s time to relax and soak up serene rural views over a delicious lunch – this is country living at its best and you won’t want to leave!

The Australian Botanic Garden Mt Annan is our next destination. Here you’ll see their dazzling carpet display of paper daisies. En masse, the pink, yellow and white flowers are a breathtaking sight and its definitely one you won’t want to miss! Inspired by Western Australia’s carpets of wildflowers, this annual event has become hugely popular since paper daisies were first planted in the 1990s.

Our last stop is Tim’s Garden Centre. Operating for over 20 years, this garden centre is exceptional in its plant selection, plant quality and professional advice. It’s no wonder Tim’s has been winning awards for years. After your day of plant and garden inspiration, it’s the perfect place to shop! There’s plenty of room on the bus for purchases and with Tim’s terrific selection, this is a great chance to find something new for your garden.

To secure your booking and make your deposit, please complete our online booking form. You will be contacted by a Ross Tours Travel Manager to confirm your details and preferred method of payment.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations received 180-120 days prior to departure will incur loss of deposit.
Cancellations received between 119-60 days prior to departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations received between 59-30 days prior to departure will incur a 75% cancellation fee plus any non-recoverable costs incurred.
Cancellations received within 30 days prior to departure will incur 100% cancellation fee.

Cancellations must be sent in writing.
Cancellation fee is based upon the total amounts paid including tours, airfares and all other travel arrangements.
