A special Mothers Day Tour to Paradise Botanical Garden, with lunch and a complimentary glass of bubbly at Saddles Restaurant at Mt White.
Mother’s Day Lunch & Nursery Visit
Celebrate Mothers Day with an indulgent day of gorgeous gardens and mouthwatering cuisine. Join our coach at Beecroft and head north to the picturesque town of Kulnura and Paradise Botanical Garden. This remarkable garden was created by legendary plant breeder and collector Bob Cherry in the 1970s. Today, this exquisite garden with its exceptional camellia and rose collections, meandering pathways, handcrafted stone walls and stunning vistas, will leave you both charmed and surprised. Paradise is developing their own range of botanicals from plants grown on the estate and you are treated to a take-home gift of their luscious skincare products. At Saddles Restaurant, a dining experience like no other awaits you. Winning a spot on Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s 2019 Most Beautiful Restaurants In The World list, this stunning sandstone homestead overlooking a private lake and bushland in Mt White is the perfect Mothers Day venue. Created by John Singleton, Saddles draws inspiration from the craftsmanship of Heath Harris, an artisan saddler who crafted saddles for John Singleton’s nearby Strawberry Hills Stud. You’ll love Heath’s unique saddle chairs at the bar! A glass of bubbly is included in your delicious two course-lunch. Later, stroll around the dam through landscaped gardens to Saddles Garden Center. Owned by Gary Gribble and Kay Bell, this beautiful nursery has a lovely range of plants for indoor and out, plus beautifully designed containers. Take a tour through the wholesale nursery, then it’s time for some retail therapy. Don’t forget to look out for John Singleton’s famous macaw birds flying overhead!
